Hunter H-Shield

H-Shield is a rigid roof insulation panel composed of a closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core manufactured on-line to fiber reinforced facers on each side.

H-Shield-CG is a rigid roof insulation panel composed of a closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core manufactured on-line to a premium performance coated glass facer on both sides.

  • Achieves a Class A combustible deck assembly rating without the use of a fire rated slip sheet or the presence of a gypsum cover board when applied at a thickness of 2.5” or greater in combination of a minimum base layer of any 2.5” Polyisocyanurate insulation.
  • Achieves a Class B combustible deck assembly rating without the use of a fire rated slip sheet or gypsum cover board when applied at a thickness of 1.9" or greater in a single layer

Hunter Tapered H-Shield

Tapered H-Shield is a sloped rigid roof insulation panel composed of a closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core manufactured on-line to a fiber reinforced facer on both sides. Tapered H-Shield is designed to promote positive drainage and prevent ponding water. For best results, request assistance from Hunter Panels Tapered Design Team.

Hunter H-Shield NB

H-Shield NB is a rigid roof insulation composite panel composed of a closed cell polyisocyanurate foam core manufactured on-line to a fiber reinforced facer on one side and either 7⁄16" or 5⁄8" oriented strand board (OSB) on the other. H-Shield NB can also be manufactured off-line using a FM approved adhesive.

  • A superior combination of high insulating properties and a  nailable surface

It's official, an El Niño advisory is now in effect for the globe. After several months under a "watch," teetering on the edge of El Niño, NOAA's Climate Prediction Center (CPC) has finally pulled the trigger.

The climate phenomenon may enhance an already very stormy pattern across California, making it even stormier.
The El Niño Southern Oscillation is a natural cycle of warmer and cooler than normal Equatorial Pacific Ocean temperatures. The El Niño phase is a warming of the Central and sometimes Eastern Equatorial Pacific sea surface temperatures, occurring every few years on average.
