ATLAS ROOFING CORPORATION – Atlas® Roofing Corporation is an innovative, customer-oriented manufacturer of residential and commercial building materials. Atlas has grown from a single roofing shingle manufacturing facility in 1982 into an industry leader with 19 plants in North America and worldwide product distribution. All Atlas products are manufactured in state-of-the-art facilities and shipped worldwide from its network of manufacturing plants and distribution facilities in the United States and Canada. Atlas Roofing Corporation is made up of 6 major divisions: Wall Insulation, Roof Insulation, Roof Shingles, Roof Underlayment, Web Technologies, and Atlas EPS.

ACFoam®-II Polyiso Roof Insulation Available in Flat & Tapered

ATLAS ROOFING CORPORATION - AC Foam-II
  • ACFoam-II Polyiso Roof Insulation
Closed-cell polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core integrally bonded to non-asphaltic, fiber-reinforced organic felt facers.
  • Refer to Product Data Sheet for long-term thermal resistance (LTTR) values.
  • Flat insulation available in 4ft x 4ft (1220mm x 1220mm) and 4ft x 8ft (1220mm x 2440mm) panels.
  • Tapered insulation available in 4ft x 4ft (1220mm x 1220mm) panels with 1/8" (3mm), 1/4" (6mm) and 1/2" (12mm) per foot slope.
Manufactured using CFC-, HCFC- and HFC-free foam blowing technology with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and virtually no (negligible) global warming potential (GWP).
  • Contains between 59% and 27.6% recycled content by weight (Atlas Technical Bulletin: TB-2).
  • Typically specified for use in new and re-roofing applications. ACFoam®-II is used in built-up (BUR), modified bitumen, metal, ballasted single-ply, mechanically attached single-ply and adhered single-ply roofing systems. These roofing systems depend on proper installation for successful performance. Refer to FM Approvals® RoofNav and UL Online Certifications Directory for additional application details.
  • To minimize the effects of thermal bridging, Atlas strongly recommends the use of multiple layers when the total desired or specified R-value requires an insulation thickness greater than 2.7” thick.

ACFoam®-III Polyiso Roof Insulation Available in Flat & Tapered

The ACFoam®-III Polyiso Roof Insulation line is available as a flat or tapered insulation solution. Polyiso is the only foam roof insulation that can be used without the need for a thermal barrier.

ACFoam-III Polyiso Roof Insulation

  • Closed-cell polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam core integrally bonded to inorganic coated glass facers.
Refer to Product Data Sheet for long-term thermal resistance (LTTR) values.
  • Flat insulation available in 4ft x 4ft (1220mm x 1220mm) and 4ft x 8ft (1220mm x 2440mm) panels.
  • Tapered insulation available in 4ft x 4ft (1220mm x 1220mm) panels with 1/8" (3mm), 1/4" (6mm) and 1/2" (12mm) per foot slope.
  • Manufactured using CFC-, HCFC- and HFC-free foam blowing technology with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and virtually no (negligible) global warming potential (GWP).
  • Contains between 11.2% and 5.2% recycled content by weight (Atlas Technical Bulletin: TB-2).
  • Recognized by the GREENGUARD Environmental Institute as resistant or highly resistant to mold growth based on independent testing using GREENGUARD Test Method GGTM.P040 (ASTM D6329) for microbial resistance.
  • Typically specified for use in new and re-roofing applications. ACFoam®-III is used in built-up (BUR), modified bitumen, metal, ballasted single-ply, mechanically attached single-ply and adhered single-ply roofing systems. These roofing systems depend on proper installation for successful performance. Refer to FM Approvals® RoofNav and UL Online Certifications Directory for additional application details.
  • Field testing has confirmed significantly more efficient use of solvent-based adhesives than with organic faced insulations.

ACFoam® Nail Base Roof Insulation Panels

ATLAS ROOFING CORPORATION - Nail Base

Discover the Power of Nailable Polyiso Insulation Panels Atlas nailable foam roof insulation is well established in the building materials industry through its ACFoam® family of products. The cores of the roof insulation panels are polyisocyanurate (polyiso) foam; the most widely used and accepted rigid insulation in use today. It is estimated that 60-65% of all commercial new or re-roofing applications nationwide use polyiso. Rigid polyiso is a safe, cost-effective, sustainable, and energy efficient construction material.

ACFoam® CrossVent® Insulation Board

ATLAS ROOFING CORPORATION - CROSSVENT

The ACFoam® CrossVent® insulation board consists of a closed-cell polyiso with 1.0", 1.5", or 2.0" vent spacer strips. The spacer strips on the insulation board allow for constant airflow; this provides thermal resistance through the air space by helping to dissipate heat buildup beneath the OSB. An Insulation Board is a rigid structural building board made of coarse wood or cane fiber in 1/2 and 25/32 inch thickness. An insulation board can be obtained in various size sheets, in various densities, and with several treatments.
